Baby StoryBaby Story makes it easy to create your own professional quality keepsake 7" x 9" book. This kit includes easy-to-follow directions, over 100 baby-themed Mrs. Grossman's stickers, special tape, design pages on which to attach your photos and write your captions, an order form and a prepaid envelope to return the materials for publication. The standard book includes 15 pages, but you have options for making almost any type of book up to 50 pages (two sided) in length. There can be more words than the 300 included, or you can type or hand write them yourself. Your cover photo and book title are laminated onto your choice of six 7" x 9" cover colors. Your photos are returned with your finished book. Normal production time is approximately two weeks from when your materials are received. Options for multiple reproductions and rush service are also available.

Donizetti - La Fille du Regiment (The Daughter of the Regiment) / Bonynge, Sutherland, Australian OperaHometown girl makes good as soprano Joan Sutherland struts her considerable stuff in this ramshackle but mostly delightful version of Donizetti's frantic comedy. Videotaped at a 1986 Australian Opera performance, the production tries a bit too much to imitate Gilbert & Sullivan in its broad comic strokes and overly frilly costumes, but this approach isn't totally alien to Donizetti's madcap plot and characters. Of course, the mettle of any Donizetti staging is tested by its lead actress, and Sutherland is in top bel canto form as the heroine, Marie, easily handling the composer's difficult vocal writing and receiving a highly partisan but justly earned ovation. Richard Bonynge, conducting the Elizabethan Sydney Orchestra, and the Australian Opera Chorus also contribute greatly to the generally upbeat atmosphere. --Kevin Filipski

Annie (Special Anniversary Edition)Charmless and dull, this adaptation of the Broadway hit stars Aileen Quinn as the depression-era moppet, Albert Finney as Daddy Warbucks, Carol Burnett as the cruel headmistress at an orphanage, and Tim Curry as a villain. The film never gets its legs, and there is no sense of setting; it's almost as if the whole thing is happening in a void. John Huston nominally directed--no doubt to make money between his smaller, cheaper masterpieces--but one would have thought he would invest something of himself in here. --Tom Keogh
